Fenerbahce Manager Jose Mourinho Faces Heavy Sanction Following 'Monkeys' Remark

The Turkish football federation (TFF) disciplinary council has imposed a two-match suspension on Thursday for his comments directed towards the fourth referee, as well as an additional two-match suspension for his outburst towards the Galatasaray bench.

They were judged "contrary to sporting ethics".

Mourinho, whose team trail leaders Galatasaray by six points in the table, was also fined just over 42,000 euros.
