Guardiola hopes Foden will skip England selection, prioritize Manchester City

Foden's call-up to the England squad for their Nations League games comes despite his limited playing time this season. The young midfielder has only featured for 45 minutes in the opening game against Chelsea.

Guardiola said: "I don't think so right now.

"I think he will not go but I don't know. He doesn't feel well. But national teams, they decide."
