New Delhi: Disappointment struck the India A team during the ongoing match against Australia A, as bowler Tanush Kotain's appeal for a caught out against Marcus Harris was disregarded by the umpire in the second 4-day match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Harris, The Australia A batter was on the crease with a score of 48 against off-spinner Tanush Kotian. Right-arm off-spinner Kotian came around the wicket to bowl to Harris, delivering a beautiful off-break that slid into the left-hander before quickly spinning away.

Looking at the incident, the ball eventually landed in the fielder’s hands at first slip, but it was unclear if it came from Harris’ bat or his thigh protection. India A was so disappointed with the umpire’s decision to make no decision, feeling the ball had nicked Harris’ bat.
