New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray is set to make his comeback from injury against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, as confirmed by coach Willie Green on Tuesday. Murray is considered probable for the game according to the Pelicans' latest injury report. The fans are eagerly anticipating his return to the court.
Murray suffered the injury, a fractured left hand, in the season opener against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 23.
The former All-Star was acquired by New Orleans in an offseason trade with the Atlanta Hawks. Over eight NBA seasons, Murray is averaging 15.4 points, 5.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds.
He rejoins a Pelicans team (4-14) that has struggled with injuries all season.
